I sure do have a question...

I have had my RotorPro black coated dimpled and slotted rotors for approximately a year now I believe. when I installed them I flushed my entire system and added very high qaulity synthetic fluid and new Carbotech Bobcat pads, and all stainless hard and flex lines throughout. Now not until after I installed the new setup I found out that most had used or tried the Carbotech Panther NOT Bobcat pads. They worked well but are low on pad life now. The Rotors still look to be in great shape except for that damn coating that flaked and peeled off in various areas the day I installed them. Anywho to get to the question. I want to flush the system again and add new pads but Im still ok with my rotors for now. What do you recommend for pads. These Bobcats I have stop well, and dont produce too much brake dust but the problem I hate is they squeek and that is embarrassing as hell. Which pad should I go with? The pads made by Centricparts for you guys, or the Hawk HPS? I understand the main four factors to a good pad are braking ability, pad wear/fade, noise, and brake dust. You cant have the best of all I know, but how are the two above mentioned pads on each of those? Thank you so much in advance and sorry for the long post... Stan

no stan, just really tired. I am running the drilled and slotted rotors from rotorpros. i like them. you can turn them if needed for your up cumming brake job but if the finish on the rotors is smooth and glassy and they are not warped you dont need to turn them. you can just put in new pads. i dont know about the pads you are running but i run the ake' bono carbon ceramic pads i they cast about a hundred bucks for the axle set. i like them they stop well, no noise, and have lo dust. i got about 15k miles out of my last set with like 8 drag events and 2 auto cross and several mountain drives, they still had life but they just got cooked and heat spotted, and cracked. the rotors and warped them

Kyle I have heard of several L owners that state the drilled rotors have cracked from RotorPro and other compnaies, the exact reason I went dimpled and slotted. I will take a straight edge to check the rotors I have, but to the eye they look like they will not need turning. I dont think I have overheated these at all, the stockers yes, but these no, there should be no warpage or defects except that color coating...

So the name of the pads you run is Ake' bono? What kind of a name is that lol?. I have not heard of these... Stan

Do not buy these rotors.......... They crack easy, and rotorpro will not replace them. I bought a these rotors and in less than 3 months of San diego driving, 2 out of 4 cracked. Im am not even hard on them, I just drive to and from the base. Unless they change there exchange or refund policy I highly recomend you do not buy these rotors!!!! !!
